Just a day after he had his ten place grid penalty overturned, Sebastian Vettel has been slapped with a similar punishment following qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix.

The German was judged to have impeded another driver the knockout phases for the penultimate round of the season and will therefore have to start five places lower on the grid than where he qualified.

Having scored 12th place on the grid, Vettel will now start the race from 17th.

It comes just 24 hours after his penalty for causing an avoidable collision in Japan was overturned by the stewards when new video evidence came to light.
