Lewis Hamilton has revealed the three drivers that he would like to see drive as his team-mate at McLaren in 2008 as attention now turns to who will replace Fernando Alonso in the team.

Speaking at Mercedes' 'Stars & Cars' event in Stuttgart, Hamilton revealed that the three drivers standing out for him are Nico Rosberg, Heikki Kovalainen and Adrian Sutil.

Although he would not be drawn on which driver exactly he would like to see partner him next year, Hamilton claims he wants to have a 'team player' alongside him as the team go for both world titles.

"Nico Rosberg, Adrian Sutil or Heikki Kovalainen," he revealed to BBC Sport. "The most important thing is that he is a team player."

Hamilton's maiden season in Formula 1 was defined by his turbulent relationship with Fernando Alonso, culminating in the Spaniard leaving the team last week, despite having been originally contracted for longer.

"I know all of them quite well, and if I could choose I honestly don't know who I would pick," he continued.
