On the same day that Honda confirmed the signing of Ross Brawn as its new team principal, the Briton's former employers Ferrari has also made changes to its technical team.

The main change will see Jean Todt - who was appointed as Ferrari CEO at the end of the 2006 season - replaced as head of the F1 team by Stefano Domenicali, who will step up into the role of director of the Gestione Sportiva from his current position of sporting director. Todt had held the role on an interim basis.

Mario Almondo will take on the role of operations manager, with Aldo Costa becoming technical director as a result. Gilles Simon will remain as engine director.

Full details on the organisation of the team are set to be announced before the New Year.
