The Williams team has extended its relationship with another of its long-term sponsors, after agreeing terms with watchmaker Oris for another three years.

The Swiss company will enjoy extended branding on the new Williams car, as well as branding on drivers Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima's gloves and overalls, the pit wall canopy and other elements of the team's trackside 'environment'.

"The Oris brand has been a definite beneficiary of our long-term relationship with Williams," chairman and CEO Ulrich Herzog said, "This new three-year commitment, which takes us through to the end of 2010, is a sign of our desire to continue to derive more from our association with the team as Oris strengthens its brand, reputation, sales and international appeal."

To celebrate both their contract extension and Williams' 30th anniversary in 2008, Oris is launching a premium limited edition watch - the jubilee edition Oris TT3 Formula Gold - with only 300 numbered units being released for sale worldwide. The brand has already utilised it relationship with the Grove team to create several bespoke drivers' watches, the most recent being the Nico Rosberg Limited Edition chronograph.

"I am always delighted when long-standing partners agree to renew their relationship with the team, as it is the greatest validation of what we do," team principal Frank Williams commented, "In a split-second business, having a watchmaker of Oris' stature and pedigree with us through to 2010 is a great vote of confidence."
