The opening FIA Formula 2 race of the weekend at Spa has been cancelled after a huge accident on the second lap of the feature race.

A multi-car collision occurred at the top of the hill at Raidillon with Juan Manuel Correa, Anthoine Hubert and Marino Sato all involved. The race was immediately suspended with a red flag thrown before it was announced the event would not be restarted.

Sato was seen getting out of his car and walking away from the scene of the incident, while Correa’s car was tipped upside down and Hubert’s Arden was also heavily damaged.

There has been no official word on either driver’s condition yet.
