Nyck de Vries managed to keep his head amid a litany of incidents during Friday's Formula 2 Feature Race in Monaco to covert pole position into his second straight victory.

De Vries dominated proceedings in Monaco for ART Grand Prix, going unchallenged off the start after Callum Ilott lost his front row start due to a technical issue with his car.

Despite having to negotiate a number of restarts - including one after a 30-minute red flag when the track was blocked by an incident - de Vries retained his advantage to lead home Luca Ghiotto and Nobuharu Matsushita.

De Vries' victory was made all the more valuable by points leader Nicholas Latifi's failure to score, with the Canadian finishing down in 13th place.

The red flag was triggered by a clash between Mick Schumacher and Tatiana Calderon at La Rascasse. Schumacher attempted to overtake Calderon, only to spin the BWT Arden driver and cause a roadblock, resulting in the race being suspended for 30 minutes.

Louis Deletraz will start from reverse grid pole in the Sprint Race on Saturday.
