This week, 17 year old Karl Reindler was awarded the 'Rising star award' by the Australian Motorsport Body CAMS.

In 2002, Karl won the AKA Karting Championship, and in 2003 he competed successfully in the Australian Formula 3 Championship, winning the coveted 'Rookie of the Year' award.

Karl's first year in the F3 Championship began with him learning to use the clutch in a race car, throughout the season he frequented the podium, and at last week's 'Lady Wigram' F3 trophy race in New Zealand, Karl laid down a
remarkable lap to put the Team BRM car on pole.

Karl's success in such a short period has also been recognised by his home state, Western Australia, and the 'Australian Institute of Sport' to further his career, and currently his team and management are seeking investors to further the career of a bright young talent.
