F3 Euroseries points leader Lewis Hamilton has already mentally discarded the success he achieved at Spa-Francorchamps last weekend, focusing instead on the latest challenge in the championship's three-week back-to-back run of classic races.

The Spa weekend saw yet another double for the ASM F3 team, with Hamilton winning race one on the road, only for disqualification to hand victory to team-mate Adrian Sutil, and then make amends on Sunday, as he headed another 1-2 result for the French team. Hamilton and Sutil crossed the finish line in first and second at the end of both events, but Hamilton, along with seven others, was disqualified as his diffuser did not conform to the required size. Despite Saturday's disappointment, Hamilton consolidated his position as championship leader, with 48 points, while Sutil caught up with James Rossiter, both men now in equal second position on 35.

"Once again, we had a great weekend in Spa," Hamilton reflected, "The team worked very hard, and we got some good points with two second places and a win.

"I was obviously quite disappointed to be disqualified on Saturday, especially as it was a difficult race with the track being very wet, and I was extremely happy to come out on top. I came back on Sunday more focused than ever. I knew I had to put in a good performance for the team, and also to show the rest of the field that I might have be out the day before, but not forever!"

Monaco was only added to the F3 Euroseries this season, but reinstates the category as a part of the grand prix schedule in the principality. Hamilton has already shown that street circuits hold no fear for him, romping to a double in Pau to add to his frontrunning performances in Macau and Korea over the past couple of seasons.

"I can't wait to get to Monaco," he enthused, "At Spa, it was very cold. I caught a bit of 'flu there and am now hoping that antibiotics will make sure I am fit for the race this weekend. Monaco is very special, and racing before the grand prix is incredible. Three of my bosses will be there, so I'd better do well!

"I am confident, and hope we can be as dominating as we have been in the recent races. This is my last season in F3 and I desperately want to win the championship. We work very hard, so I know we can win this."
