Having made a name for himself in his debut year in the Formula Three Euroseries, Guillaume Moreau is looking to build on his 'rookie of the year' title, by challenging for the championship this season

The French driver, who will again compete with the Signature team, became the first rookie to win a race in the series since Red Bull Racing's Christian Klein in 2003. His feat was all the more impressive since his win was one of just three that weren't taken by champion Lewis Hamilton.

"We have a tin-top package with the Mercedes powered Dallara," he stated. "To improve my technical skills, I took part in the engineers meetings. They worked hard on all the aspects the arrival of the Mercedes implies, and also on the new aerodynamic specifications of the Dallara chassis."

Moreau, who will return to the car in a test at the Albacete circuit in March, is also working on his fitness in order to prepare himself for the extended race weekend. "I am working hard on fitness with a professional coach to face the new F3 meeting format, especially the 45-minute race.

"We expect more intense efforts, so I practiced a lot of bike, jogging, and body-building. Other sports like Basket-Ball, Squash and Tennis also proved effective, so we included them in the training program."
