As has been the case throughout pre-season testing, Marko Asmer emerged as the man to beat at Oulton Park during the final official pre-season test before the opening rounds of the British F3 International Series season.

The 22-year-old Estonian posted a time of 1mins 28.4secs, which was good enough to put him a tenth of a second clear of his nearest rival. Rookie team-mate Walter Grubmuller again turned in another impressive performance, as he flew in from Austria to complete 59 trouble-free laps of the track in the four-hour official session.

"It was another very good test and I'm encouraged by Marko's consistency which has once again put him at the top of the timesheets," team boss David Hayle said. "Walter has again impressed with his ever-improving performance which netted him the eleventh quickest time, which for a first time in an F3 car on a track like Oulton was a very creditable result."
