Grand-Am Cup driver Ken MacAlpine will make his debut in the FIA GT Championship next weekend in the final round of the year in Zhuhai, China.

MacAlpine will be behind the wheel of the Graham Nash Motorsport Porsche GT3RS, and answered questions for GNM's Andy Woolgar ahead of the race.

AW:
Are you looking forward to driving in China?

KM:
Very much. The Chinese appear to be doing every thing possible to bring car racing to their country and the circuit facilities look absolutely spectacular.

AW:
What do you know about Graham Nash Motorsport?

KM:
Graham Nash Motorsport is a very experienced team that have competed internationally for over ten years at some of the major racing venues around the world and have won a number of championships. I am very excited to be part of this organisation.

AW:
Have you driven a Porsche GT3RS before?

KM:
No but I am certainly looking forward to this new opportunity in my racing career and feel, in particular, my experience in Gran Am over this past twelve months will put me in a good position to be competetive.

AW:
Will this be your first outing in the FIA GT Championship?

KM:
It will be. Having watched it on television I have great admiration for the level of competition and professionalism shown and thank GMN for this exciting opportunity.

AW:
Are you familiar with the Championship?

KM:
I am having followed it both on television, auto sports and various websites.

AW:
Thanks very much

MacAlpine will drive the #70 Porsche with Californian Robert Orcutt and British driver Stephen Stokoe.
