Are you fast enough for MotoGP?

There is no doubt that riding a full-blown MotoGP bike is a frightening prospect but given the chance wouldn't all us petrol heads want to do that?.

Interesting development lately due to injuries is this conversation by the top men (except Crutchlow) that whoever wants to come to a race weekend needs to have tested first on a GP bike or needs to be at the right level of experience at the top level.

Agreed, choosing Ponson was a bit of a leap but as Crutchlow said, let him have a go. But at Aragon this weekend he has been replaced by Jordi Torres who in my opinion has a great pedigree but his former Moto 2GP winners pedigree was still being questioned?

I understand the concern but c'mon - Torres was fast in Moto 2 - knows the circuits, paddock, layouts, people, and more importantly is a rider who we have seen adapt to more than one bike over the past few years.

I think Dorna are missing a big opportunity - why not draft from WSB? or to that end, why not BSB?

Otherwise, use the test riders - if your team has one.

But its all very well for the high and mighty to comment but how is anyone supposed to get there?
