Sergey Sirotkin's early morning pace was enough to put him top of the time sheets despite a last minute effort from rookie and 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup, Pierre Gasly.

The rain-disrupted session did not slow down Pietro Fantin who continued his run of form to sit third fastest overall.

The afternoon session was closely fought; the top five drivers were separated by just eight hundredths-of-a-second with five minutes remaining on the clock. Long time leader of the afternoon session, Tom Dillmann had to settle for seventeenth overall.

Nikolay Martsenko, Zoel Amberg and Nigel Melker put their FR3.5 experience to good use finishing fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

Will Stevens was once again the fastest British driver; Oliver Rowland was three tenths-of-a-second behind his compatriot in eighth. Meanwhile, Luca Ghiotto and William Buller completed the top ten.

Marlon Stockinger, Oliver Rowland, Sergey Sirotkin and Matthieu Vaxiviere all briefly struggled in the wet conditions causing numerous red flags to disrupt the test.

Sergey Sirotkin's run of top five finishes make him the most consistent driver throughout the three day testing event.

Formula Renault 3.5 testing will resume March 24th as the drivers take to Jerez before the season opener the following month.
