Jordan King says he is "really looking forward" to his home round of the 2015 GP2 Series, as the series heads to familiar territory at Silverstone.

King's teammate Alexander Rossi is currently second in the standings, and although the Briton is 14th, he comes to Silverstone following a strong weekend in Austria.

"Austria was a good weekend pace wise, I was slightly disappointed not to come away with more points as my speed really did deserve more but to get fastest lap in the last race was a good box to tick looking ahead to the rest of the season," he said.

King predicts that Silverstone's high speed layout will lead to important tyre management decisions. If his team does this consistently, he is looking to score a podium finish this weekend.

"I think the biggest thing for Silverstone, as it always in with GP2, is the tyre management; with the high speed corners and a lot of traction zones it will make for some high tyre wear.

"Even though qualifying is very important as always I think you will be able to overtake there as we have two DRS zones coupled with some heavy breaking zones."
