'Everything new' is the motto of the Superfund Euro 3000 Championship, and the organisers are proving true to their word by adding the extra carrot of a Formula One test to attract drivers to the series.

Next to the introduction of substantial prize money and the award of a superlicence for the overall winner, new sponsor Superfund gives the overall winner the opportunity to test with an, as yet, unnamed team. Last season, the financial services company rewarded Norbert Siedler, one of its sponsored drives, with an outing in a Minardi, thanks to the team's common backing.

Superfund has already confirmed that it will pay out prize money to the top three finishers at each race, with the winner receiving EUR10.000, the runner-up EUR5000 and third place EUR3000.
