2004 Phoenix International Raceway season tickets have hit the sale block. The 15-race schedule gets the green flag in January and features the world's best drivers of Indy Cars, Sports Cars and NASCAR on the historic layouts of PIR.

"Last year was probably the best in PIR's long history," said Bryan Sperber, President of Phoenix International Raceway, "yet next year promises to be even better. Season ticket holders will be able to watch 15 different and season ticket holders get first choice at the best reserved seats for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Checker Auto Parts 500 and NASCAR Busch Series Bashas' Supermarkets 200. With season tickets starting for as little as $199 each, this is certainly one of the best values in all of motorsports."

PIR's '04 schedule begins January 24th-25th with NASCAR Winter Heat featuring the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series and the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series races. Following the annual IRL Test in the West (February 7th), the four-race Indy 200/Copper World Classic takes place March 19th-21st. The Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series runs April 23rd-24th, featuring a larger field of Daytona Prototypes plus two GT classes.

After a summer layoff, action at PIR picks up again on October 2nd-3rd with the second-annual NASCAR Doubleheader Weekend (NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series and the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series races). The season comes to a close one month later with the 17th annual Checker Auto Parts 500 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race weekend (November 4th-7th).

Besides the Checker Auto Parts 500 NASCAR Nextel Cup race, the weekend includes the Bashas' Supermarkets 200 NASCAR Busch Series race, the Silverado 150 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, and the Cruise America 125 NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series race.
