Fans can once again get free qualifying tickets for two of Texas Motor Speedway's most exciting races of the season, when the IRL and Craftsman Truck series come to town.

Free tickets for the 7 June Kodiak Qualifying Night can be picked up this week at more than 700 participating Diamond Shamrock and 7-11 stores in the Fort Worth-Dallas area, as well as at Brookshire Bros Supermarkets in East Texas.

The Kodiak Qualifying Day activities precede the 8 June NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O'Reilly 400 and the 9 June Indy Racing Northern Light Series Casino Magic 500.

"We are proud to provide free qualifying tickets for these two races," said Tommy Combs, senior product manager for Conwood Sales Co, which sponsors the Kodiak Qualifying Night activities through its Kodiak Racing Division, "With such a wide distribution of ticket locations, race fans will have a convenient manner in which to get their free tickets."

Qualifying for the O'Reilly 400 begins at 1615 on Thursday 7 June, while the Indy cars take to the speedway at 2030 that evening to qualify for the Casino Magic 500.

"We had the closest finish in Indy Racing history last June, and our truck race annually draws one of the largest crowds of that series, so we are expecting another great weekend of racing," said speedway general manager Eddie Gossage, "Providing free qualifying tickets is just another example of a generous sponsor working with Texas Motor Speedway to reach out to our race fans to enhance their experience."
