With RuSPORT preparing for its final race in the Champ Car World Series, Justin Wilson says he is firmly focused on sending the team out with a win in Mexico City.

Wilson heads into the weekend in second place in the championship standings, although the Briton can't afford to relax with Team Minardi USA man Robert Doornbos currently just eight points behind in the race to finish as runner-up to F1 bound champion Sebastien Bourdais.

Wilson has gone well at the Aut?dromo Hermanos Rodr?guez in the past, winning in the Mexican city in 2005 and then finishing second last year despite carrying a wrist injury sustained in an accident at Surfers Paradise.

Now he will hope to end the season with a victory that would secure his championship placing and send RuSPORT out on a high.

"It's a track I really enjoy and I hope we can continue where we left off last year", Wilson said. "Mexico City has always been a successful event for us, so we're looking forward to going out and getting pole position and will be trying hard to win the race.

"Finishing second in the championship is really important to the whole team. Everyone at RuSPORT is determined to go out on top. On Friday and Saturday we'll be completely focused on going for pole position. If we can do that, we'll have a good shot at the race win and second in the championship."
