SWE Racing will enter two cars in the Firestone Freedom 100 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway next Friday, having confirmed series veteran Mike Potekhen alongside Robbie Pecorari for the blue riband race.

Team owner Steve Eppard revealed his all-new line-up ten days before the event, bringing in Pecorari hot off his runners-up finish in the Kansas Lottery 100 to partner series returnee Potekhen, who make his first start of the year at Indianapolis.

"I'm very excited to add Robbie and Mike to our team," Eppard said, "We got to know Robbie pretty well last season when he drove for Team KMA, and we are happy to add a second driver of the calibre of Mike to the team."

Pecorari finished second to JR Hildebrand in Kansas late last month, driving for Guthrie Racing, having made his only previous 2008 appearance with Michael Crawford Motorsports in St Petersburg. He currently sits 14th in the points, having missed the Homestead season-opener, and will drive the #43 car for the remainder of the year.

"I'm used to getting into things and going," the 21-year old admitted, "It's the same engineer from last year, Mark Weida, so there's still a connection for me. It won't be as hard as the other teams because I already know the guys - we were different teams last year, but it was almost like it was the same team."

Potekhen will pilot the #92 Miller Eads car, having finished fifth in last year's Indy Pro Series standings on the back of three top five finishes with Apex Racing. He too knows the SWE set-up, having been given his IPS debut with the team in 2006.
