Tommy Hill wins the 2011 MCE British Superbike Championship after prevailing in a breathtaking last lap battle with John Hopkins that ended with them split by 0.006secs.
Having stunned the regulars on the World Superbike stage, Hopkins takes in British Superbikes before heading to the Czech Republic for a MotoGP outing.
FB Corse, which is planning to enter MotoGP with a three-cylinder motorcycle at select events in 2010, insists that former Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki MotoGP rider John Hopkins remains part of the project.
Pedrosa, who had qualified on pole for the fourth successive race, lost out to MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner and team-mate Nicky Hayden into turn one, but was quickly back past Hayden and chasing down the Ducati star.
