2017 Le Mans 24 Hours Live

18 June, 2017 - 15:01

That's it from us - we lasted the full 24 hours (fair few coffees and Red Bulls in between) and now it's time to catch up with the drivers.

We leave you with the full results from an extraordinary race

Until next year, Au Revoir!

Oddly, second in class - albeit 9 laps behind - still means the #8 Toyota leads the WEC standings, so it wasn't a lost cause getting back in the car after losing more than 2 hours to tech issues

18 June, 2017 - 14:45

The forlorn #8 Toyota drivers - 9th in the end - take to the odd-looking podium as LMP1 still gets a ceremony, even though only 2 made it to the end

18 June, 2017 - 14:27

One day Toyota, one day...

18 June, 2017 - 14:22

Team of the race for us though is the #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca of Oliver Jarvis, Ho-Pin Tung and Thomas Laurent - incredible result and so close to a shock win

18 June, 2017 - 14:21

Congrats to ex-F1 man Will Stevens who along with Dries Vanthoor and Robert Smith are winners in the GT Am class - Ferrari 1-2-3 no less

18 June, 2017 - 14:20

What about GTE Pro though - Jonathan Adam the hero as his pressure forces Jordan Taylor into a mistake on the penultimate lap. Even so, disappointment for Corvette as an apparent issues forces Taylor to slow on last lap and drop to third in class behind the #67 Ford

18 June, 2017 - 14:19

Special mention to United Autosports who on their debut and using the lesser fancied Ligier LMP2 secured 6th overall

18 June, 2017 - 14:19

The #13 Vaillante Rebellion secures a stunning overall podium too for Nelson Piquet Jr, David Heinemeier-Hansson and Mathias Beche - sometimes reality is stranger than fiction!

18 June, 2017 - 14:18

A historic day for Chinese motorosport - two teams on the LMP2 podium, plus one on the overall podium

Big congrats to the JMW Ferrari team, which takes GT AM honours with Will Stevens, Dries Vanthoor and Robert Smith
