Adam Sharpe is all set to take another giant leap towards international stardom as he prepares for a very busy programme during November, taking in two of the world's most famous venues.

The 19 year-old sportscar racer emerged onto the scene with a strong run in the 2003 British GT Championship, and a race-winning performance at the Brands Hatch season finale - where he raced alongside Morgan works driver Neil Cunningham - attracted the attention of the official Morgan factory team, which is currently making last-minute preparations for a return to Le Mans for the inaugural Le Mans 1000km on 9 November.

"Adam has proved to be a superb partner for Neil, who we rate as one of the best drivers working in the GT world at the moment," explained Morgan team manager David Dowse, "The 1000km race in November is a vital stepping stone to the big 24-hour race there next summer, and we're really delighted that we'll be working with a winning combination behind the wheel of the works Morgan Aero 8."

Sharpe will barely have time to draw breath after the French outing before he flies to Australia to compete alongside Cunningham in the gruelling 24 Hour race at Bathurst.
