Californian sportscar driver Rick Sutherland has confirmed his participation at the 2005 Le Mans 24 Hours with Graham Nash Motorsport [GNM].

The 2004 LMP2 Le Mans Class winner will also race at the Sebring 12 Hours and in the Le Mans Endurance Series [LMES] with GNM.

"I have seen GNM racing over the years and I have always been impressed with the way their cars are turned out, and with the quality of the drivers," said Sutherland.

"It's a great opportunity and a great team.

"I've wanted to drive a Saleen since the first time I saw one but never had the right opportunity, so after speaking with Andy and Graham at GNM it was good to agree a deal. I'm very happy."

Team boss Graham Nash was equally pleased.

"Rick will bring a lot of experience and he is a very level headed driver, which is exactly what we were looking for," he added. "We have a very serious programme with him and I hope that we will be able to expand on it this year and in the future."

GNM will enjoy full technical and factory support from Pirelli Competizione for the programmes mentioned.
