Ho Pin Tung has been added to the KCMG line-up for this summers Le Mans 24 Hours after being called up to replace Jim Ka To in the team's LMP2 machine.

Tung, former test and reserve driver with the Renault F1 Team, will join Alex Imperatori and Matt Howson at the wheel of the #47 Morgan-Nissan for the event, which mark the first outing at the Circuit de la Sarthe for the Chinese team.

The team finished sixth in class in the WEC season opener at Silverstone, where To was part of the three-man driver line-up.

He will focus on a racing campaign in the US following the signing of Tung for Le Mans.

"I am thrilled having been invited to join KCMG and compete in the worlds' most appealing racing event," Tung said. "KCMG will be the first Chinese team ever to join the Le Mans 24 Hours race and I consider being part of this history in making, this June, as a great honour.

"I have raced in the streets of Monaco and at Indianapolis. To complete the magic three is the dream of every racing driver. I can hardly wait to go to the old and famous Circuit de la Sarthe with the team and I will give everything to score an impressive result with them."
