The race winner Pedrosa: It was really tough. Physically it was tough. The track is demanding for this bike. You need to work a lot on the bike physically, it was moving a lot. You had to take a big breath on the straight but it's coming in a progression. We have to finish the season in the same way.

Lorenzo: I don't remember any race that was hotter and more difficult than this. I was lucky to be prepared. On the bike with the engine so hot it was … It doesn't matter. it was worth the effort but the championship is more close. We'll have to see the investigation. I didn't see that so I can't comment. But it was big.

Rossi speaks: Unfortunately I lose a lot of time with Marc. At turn 14 I tried to go a bit wide to take a better line and make him slow because he just ride to cause me some problems. Unfortunately I didn't know, he came into me. It's a shame because in a normal race we can fight with Jorge and we lose some other points. In Valencia it will be more difficult.

Let's point out, Lorenzo's start to the race, which was utterly staggering, with incredibly brave moves on Rossi and Marquez. Whisper it, but that start was a champion at work there.

25 October, 2015 - 07:46

Pedrosa celebrates in parc ferme. Rossi is smiling, but his mechanics are whispering something in his ear. His crew certainly isn't celebrating.

25 October, 2015 - 07:45

Such a subdued reaction in Rossi's garage tells the story. This is far from over. Honest question: Has there ever been a season quite like this? 2006 was wonderful from start to finish but I think this may just top it.

25 October, 2015 - 07:43

MotoGP results: Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Rossi, Smith, Crutchlow, Petrucci, A.Espargaro, Viñales, P.Espargaro, Bradl, Redding, Hernandez, Barbera, Elias, Bautista.

25 October, 2015 - 07:42

20/20: Pedrosa wins and Lorenzo celebrates his 2nd position! This will go down to Valencia!

25 October, 2015 - 07:41

20/20: Pedrosa is just 1 lap away from his 2nd victory of 2015. He's been stunning all weekend, and is still a genuine force in this series. What will he be able to do next year?

25 October, 2015 - 07:39

19/20: The expressions on the faces of Rossi's garage appear to show they feel a penalty is forthcoming. Jarvis is wearing a forlorn expression.

25 October, 2015 - 07:39

19/20: 2 to go, just 0.147s separates Espargaro and Viñales. The class rookie certainly doesn't look as though he's in the mood to back down from this.

25 October, 2015 - 07:37

18/20: Well, back to the on-track action. Petrucci has pulled clear of the Suzukis. Viñales is all over Espargaro, a move is surely incoming.

25 October, 2015 - 07:34

17/20: Well, this is just astonishing. If almost feels like the following laps are an irrelevance and that is a great, great disservice to several riders out there that have ridden brilliantly; Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Petrucci and Bradl among them.

25 October, 2015 - 07:33

16/20: Amid the madness, we've failed to mention Stefan Bradl in 10th. A sensational ride by the Aprilia man.

25 October, 2015 - 07:31

15/20: Suppo: It's clear that Valentino deliberately kicked the bike of mark. So we will wait for their decision at the end of the race.

25 October, 2015 - 07:31

15/20: Lorenzo is 2s behind Pedrosa. Incredible to think the 2nd Repsol man has ghosted through this weekend unnoticed, yet he's claimed pole position and a likely race win at the end of it all.

25 October, 2015 - 07:29

14/20: Well, there is still a race going on for 6th. And what a race! Petrucci narrowly leads A.Espargaro, Pol, and Viñales.

25 October, 2015 - 07:27

13/20: I think Lorenzo has settled for 2nd. Pedrosa's lead is up to 1.4s. At this rate, Rossi's title lead will be down to 7 points. But we'll have to wait to hear of race direction's decision after the race.
