Renowned socialite Paris Hilton is set to become a familiar figure in the MotoGP paddock in 2011 after it was revealed she will put her name to a 125GP team next season.

The heiress to the Hilton hotel chain fortune - and notorious tabloid attraction - is behind the SuperMart(C) VIP by Paris Hilton team, which will launch this weekend with riders Sergio Gadea and Maverick Vinales.

A partnership with BQR, the team will be spearheaded by Rossano Brazzi on the technical side, while Xavi Montero and Ricard Garriga are also involved in the project.

Gadea steps back to the 125 series after a season spent at Moto2 level, the Spaniard scoring a single podium at Mugello on the way to 17th position in the standings, while Vinales steps up from the Spanish national championship.
