Speaking at the Wrooom Press Ski Meeting on Tuesday, Ducati CEO and President Gabriele Del Torchio revealed that the Italian Tricolore will be present on the factory team's 2011 MotoGP bikes, in the form of a badge on the fuel tank.

"Ducati will remain in [2011] the icon of excellence it has so far proven to be and will deliver "Made in Italy" to markets all over the world," Del Torchio said.

"This year we are celebrating the 150th anniversary of Italian Unity and we are proud to accept the invitation of our country's President, Giorgio Napolitano, by placing the Italian Tricolore on Valentino's and Nicky's motorcycles."

Next year's Desmosedici livery will be unveiled by Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden on Wednesday.
