Stefan Bradl was still experiencing rear grip trouble as the German rider finished second to compete a Honda one-two on the second day of the MotoGP test in Qatar.

Bradl was satisfied with his time on the LCR Honda RC213V, lapping in 1m 55.508s to finish 0.314s behind Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini Honda, but is still seeking a solution to the rear grip issues that have been prevalent since the test commenced on Friday.

"I am happy with how today went: P2 is a positive result, but there's still a weak point to adjust. In fact, despite our efforts, we could not get the perfect solution for the rear grip problems of yesterday," said Bradl.

"I am still struggling on maximum leaning and I miss some drive out of the corners. It's a bit frustrating for me but seems a common problem amongst the riders here.

"The team is already at work for tomorrow so I am confident to be able to make further improvements."
