As a reward for winning the Moto3 World Championship, Alex Marquez got the chance to make his MotoGP debut at Valencia on Monday - alongside brother, and reigning world champion Marc!
Marc had been due to take the day off, after winning a record 13th race of the season on Sunday, but returned to the circuit to show Alex the way around at the start of the final hour.
Both completed twelve laps, beginning with Marc in front, then Alex... then Valentino Rossi joined in as well! During their run Marc set a lap time 5.2s from pace setter Jorge Lorenzo and Alex 5.6s.
Marc will be back for serious testing on Tuesday, while Alex is moving to Moto2 next season.
