UPDATE: After checking on the status of Sepang with Dorna, Crash.net has been told that Malaysia is no longer Subject to Contract and is '100% confirmed'.

An updated version of the provisional 2017 MotoGP calendar has been released, which shows that the date of the German Grand Prix has been moved from July 16 to July 2.

The British and Malaysian rounds are still listed as subject to contract, despite a new deal for Sepang being announced in October.

With the Circuit of Wales still uncertain, there have been rumours that Dorna is seeking a future deal directly with Silverstone for the British round.

Either way, Crash.net understands the STC listings for the events are 'nothing to worry about', that they concern 'formal details' and that the final calendar is expected to be ready for official release in mid-January.
