The 2004 MotoGP calendar has been confirmed by the FIM, with no major changes since Suzuka was removed from the provisional version announced in mid-August.
The only minor alteration is that the Italian Grand Prix, at Mugello, has been delayed by a week from May 30 to June 6, meaning Italy and Catalunya will now be on consecutive weekends.
Otherwise, the 16 round series will still start in South Africa on April 18 and finish at Valencia on October 31.
