World Superbike champion Neil Hodgson and 250cc grand prix star Chaz Davies will go head-to-head Scalextric-style this Thursday, as they help launch the first-ever motorbike slot-racing system.

Hornby will unveil a full range of Scalextric motorbike slot racing products, based on the MotoGP world championship, at this year's UK Toy Fair at Excel Exhibition Centre, London. Then, following a practice session, the two Brits will battle for victory in the inaugural Scalextric MotoGP race - scheduled to start at 10.30am.

The sets will be available from May to coincide with the early rounds of the 2004 MotoGP Championship.

Prices for the Scalextric MotoGP sets are expected to be as follows:

Solo bikes: ?30 RRP
