After Silverstone threatened wind and rain - but ultimately failed to deliver - for the four-wheeled British Grand Prix, what can bike fans expect from their mid-summer date at Donington Park?

Castle Donington, England

Friday
Dry, fine start to the day with some good spells of bright and sunny weather. During the morning, cloud will thicken, but sunshine will remain the dominant feature. Feeling very warm, with light westerly breezes. Top temperatures peaking at 24C / 76F. Zero per cent risk of precipitation.

Saturday
High pressure across central and southern Britain continuing the fine conditions today. Almost a repeat performance of Friday, with a fine, sunny start to the day, followed by variable cloud late morning and into the afternoon. Remaining dry, with light north-westerly breezes. Top temperatures at 25C / 77F. Zero per cent risk of precipitation.

Sunday
To complete the set, it looks like we have another fine and mostly dry day on the cards. There is a slight difference as we are likely to see more in the way of cloud. Still a good deal of sunshine but, with more cloud and plenty of heat, this could spark off the odd rogue shower during the afternoon. Light breezes once more from the north-west, with top temperatures of 23C / 74F. Twenty per cent risk of precipitation.
