As expected, Alma Pramac Racing has officially confirmed that Jack Miller will remain at the team for the 2019 MotoGP season.

The Australian - contracted directly to Ducati - will step up from a year-old Desmosedici to the latest 2019 machinery, as will be used by factory team riders Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci.

Petrucci is moving from Pramac to replace Jorge Lorenzo, with Moto2 star Francesco Bagnaia becoming Miller's new team-mate next season.

Both Petrucci and Miller have a one-year contract.

Miller spent three seasons at Honda, winning a wet race at Assen, before joining Ducati.

The former Moto3 title runner-up has taken a pole position and two fourth-place finishes so far this season, but dropped to ninth in the world championship after a non-finish at Mugello.
