British Supersport GP2 Cup star Josh Owens has set-up a GoFundMe page to help cover the remaining costs for a Moto2 wild-card entry in next weekend's British Grand Prix.

It's a huge chance for Owens - the top competitor on Moto2 machinery in BSS with seven race wins, including a dominant 12-sec overall victory last time at Thruxton - but does not come cheap, with his team having already spent £13,500 on entry fees.

Owens, said to have set competitive times during two track days at Silverstone on his RS Racing Kalex, is now hoping the racing community can help him secure the remaining funds needed to make the Grand Prix appearance a reality.
