The Moto2 race start was delayed due to a huge rain storm.

The grand prix saw further rain bursts, which eventually forced the race to be stopped on lap 16 of 19.

Gino Rea was leading when the red flags were waved, but the result was taken from the end of the last full lap, handing Alex de Angelis victory from Anthony West and Rea.

Wild-card Hafizh Syahrin led during the middle stages on his way to fourth.

Marc Marquez fell from seventh place with seven laps to go, while on course to wrap-up the title. Championship rival Pol Espargaro was credited with tenth place, meaning Marquez leads by 48 points with 50 points still available...
