Mother nature has forced the Coke Zero 400 at the Daytona International Speedway to be rescheduled to tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. EST.

Rain began to fall hard on the 2.5-mile superspeedway around 90 minutes prior to the scheduled green flag start of 7:30 pm EST. The precipitation lightened up a bit for NASCAR to send out the Air Titans to start drying the track.

The rain continued to fall and NASCAR elected to postpone the race to tomorrow afternoon.

Weather also cancelled qualifying for tomorrow's 160 lap event, which set the field by owner points and put Team Penske's Joey Logano on the pole.

The lineup will be slightly altered as five drivers will start from the tail end of the field. William Byron was forced to a backup car following contact with Brad Keselowski in final practice while Kyle Larson, Justin Haley, Joey Gase and Brendan Gaughan all made unapproved adjustements.
