Formula E: Marrakesh E-Prix - 12 January / Santiago E-Prix - 26 January

The 2018/19 Formula E season continues this weekend with the second round of the championship in Marrakesh, following the dawn of the all-electric series’ new ‘Gen2’ era at the inaugural Ad Diriyah E-Prix in December.

Antonio Felix da Costa made a perfect start to BMW’s factory effort as he beat reigning champion Jean-Eric Vergne to victory in an action-packed race in Saudi Arabia.

With new drivers finding their feet and every team still growing accustomed to their Gen2 machinery at a new circuit, the competitive order has been hard to glean.

A further glimpse of the pecking order should be provided in Marrakesh - which marks the first venue of the new season that Formula E has previously been to. Formula E fans are treated to a double helping of races this month, with the Santiago E-Prix taking place in Chile a fortnight later on January 26.
