Reigning Suzuki Swift Sporting Cup champion Mark Gamble is planning a busy season for 2009 and aims to contest no less than 25 different rallies as he chases four separate championships.

The Wolverhampton-based man enjoyed his most successful year of rallying in '08, dominating the Suzuki Swift one-make series with four wins from the six rallies in his JAM Motorsport-prepared Swift.

Now he intends to contest both the BTRDA Rally Series and the Heart of England Championship in the very same Peugeot 106 that he used to take two podiums in 2008 and will be co-driven by Mark Freeman in those two championships.

However, Mark will once again target the MSA British Rally Championship as his primary focus - and is currently considering a number of different cars for the new year.

Gamble will also continue his successful partnership with Steve Link in the BRC and they are aiming to contest the Epynt Challenge as they further their tarmac experience.

"Last season was just incredible for both Steve and I," said Gamble. "Furthermore whilst my 2009 season plans might seem optimistic to some people we've had a look at the logistics and we definitely feel that we can target these four different championships without draining our resources too much."

Gamble will begin his busy season with the forthcoming Wyedean Forest Rally, which takes place on Saturday February 7.
