Simon Andrews is hoping he can build on his 2009 Macau Grand Prix debut when he returns to the infamous walled circuit for the 2010 edition of the race.

Andrews became the latest British Superbike rider to try his hand at road racing with a run to seventh position on his first outing around the Macanese street venue.

Once more riding for the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team, Andrews is looking forward to the event, not least because he wants to end a frustrating season on a high.

"Last year went far better than we anticipated for my debut on the road circuit and being the fastest newcomer was a real result. So we're looking to build upon that this time now that we know what to expect but I won't get too worked-up, I'm just going to concentrate on doing the best we can for the team and finishing our year well."

Andrews will be joined by road racing specialist Stephen Thompson - who finished fifth in 2008 -, while MSS Colchester Kawasaki's new BSB signing Stuart Easton will also be present riding a ZX-10R under the Paul Bird Motorsport banner.
