Conor Cummins has been ruled out of next week's Vauxhall International North West 200.

The Manx rider confirmed the news after visiting his surgeon this week following a spill at Donington Park in April, where he broke his right wrist.

Cummins though is on course to be fit for the Isle of Man TT.

"Everything is good but the injury just needs more time to heal," he said. "I could come to the North West and ride round but I want to be competitive and win races.

"I am disappointed but it is better not to disrupt the healing process."

Cummins was set to ride in the Superbike, Superstock and Supersport classes for the Batley-based team at the North West.

The 30-year-old joined the team for 2017 after being replaced in the official Honda Racing squad by Lincolnshire's Guy Martin.
