Guy Martin will compete in the Supersport races at the Vauxhall International North West 200 for Wilson Craig Racing on a Honda.

Martin last rode full-time for the Northern Ireland team in 2010 and the Lincolnshire rider was reunited with Craig at the Cookstown 100 road races, where he finished in eighth place on the CBR600RR.

Team boss Craig said: "We had a few conversations about Guy riding my bike at the North West and I am delighted that he will be out on the 600.

"Guy was happy with the bike at Cookstown and it is now fully prepared for him for next week. It will be great to see him out in my colours again and I want to thank Mervyn Whyte [Event Director] for giving us the opportunity to race."

The North West 200 will be Martin's first international road race since he was hurt in a spill at the Ulster Grand Prix in 2015.

He sat out the whole of last season but is back this year as part of the official Honda Racing team with John McGuinness, with both riders due to give the all-new Fireblade SP2 Superbike its roads debut when practice commences on Tuesday.
