The 28th annual speedway ice racing world championship series kicks off January 2, 2004 at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, USA. The excitement level will be high as racers try to get off to an early points lead for the title.

The top speedway ice racers from around the world will be battling in sports arenas throughout America this winter hoping to make it to the grand finale in Las Vegas. The world championship will be decided at the Orleans Arena February 5th - 7th. This event will offer the biggest combined purse in series history with over $25,000 in cash and awards and a very cool $5,000 going to the bike and quad winners!

Three pro divisions of competition will be racing in this year's series. Nitro ice speedway bikes, unlimited outlaw ice quads and for the first time xtreme ice karts. Each division will be racing for their separate and highly coveted world titles.

For the first time ever European speedway motorcycle hopefuls will be offered invitations to the ice world championship series based on their finishing positions at the upcoming "King of the rink" championship being held November 2nd in Hull, England.
