The Oxford Silver Machine Academy host another feast of Conference League Speedway action at Sandy Lane tonight (Friday). The Sheffield Prowlers are first on, with tapes up at 7.15pm. This will be followed by the Newcastle Gems at approximately 8.45pm.

Oxford are currently in tenth place in the Conference League table but if they win both matches, and pick up both bonus points, could move themselves up a huge six places to sit in fourth position. The target is fifty five points for the Sheffield match and fifty two points against Newcastle.

Oxford will be at full strength for the two matches with Joe Cook, Chris Mills and Chris Schramm providing the top end fire power. Add to this, the exciting partnership of Chris Johnson and Ben Barker at reserve and there is a real chance of taking all six points on offer.

The Oxford Silver Machine Academy then face Boston at Sandy Lane next Wednesday before facing local rivals the Swindon Sprockets on Thursday, October 9th at the Abbey Stadium.
