Oxford Silver Machine promoter Nigel Wagstaff travels to Tenerife for the annual BSPA conference in a confident mood after a successful start to his planning for the 2004 campaign.

Wagstaff met with the general manager of the GRA owned Oxford Stadium, Jim Snowden, this week and has agreed a deal to see speedway continue at the venue in 2004

"Jim Snowden and I have had a good working relationship all year and I would like to thank him for his support of the club" the meeting clears the way for speedway to continue at the stadium for next season and possibly beyond."

"We had a very fruitful meeting and everything is in place for 2004 and there are no obstacles in the way of a longer term arrangement being considered in the future" Wagstaff concluded.

Little more will be known before the arrangements for next year have been ratified at the BSPA conference. So that the Oxford faithful can hear all the news first hand the SOS have organised an evening with Nigel Wagstaff to be held on Saturday, November 29th, 2003 at the Green Rd Club in Kidlington. Further details will be released nearer the time.
