Furious Peterborough owner Mick Horton has slammed rival club bosses for the way they are conducting their business. Horton is facing up to team building problems after missing out on both Chris Harris and Kenneth Bjerre, who both featured last season.

He said: "We have already lost Chris Harris and now other promotions are going behind my back to offer Kenneth Bjerre stupid money. We need protection."

Meanwhile, Bjerre has agreed a shock switch to Belle Vue just days after Peterborough announced his arrival from Newcastle. The talented young Dane will line-up alongside Jason Crump in the Aces side after accepting an offer from bosses John Perrin and Jim Lynch.

His official website states: "Kenneth has signed for Belle Vue for the next Elite League season. The contract has been settled after much speculation surrounding other clubs."
