With three weeks still remaining to sign-up ICE has already received 50 entries in its three pro divisions of racing for the biggest event in their 28 year history. The world championship open will take place February 6 & 7, 2004 at the new, beautiful Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Nitro ICE Speedway Bikes, Unlimited Outlaw Quads and Xtreme ICE Speedway Karts will battle it out for a total cash purse of $25,000.

This figure doesn't include the spectacular trophies being given out and other special awards for the weekend. Vegas Champions in the Bike and Quad divisions each earn a very cool $5,000. The Kart Champ makes a thousand bucks!

Early entries in the Bikes include reigning World Champion and current WC Points leader James Mann from Bolton, England; the winingest ice racer ever 5-time World Champion Charlie "The Edge" Venegas from San Bernadino, CA; 2-time ICE National Champion Ronny Kemp from Cary, NC; major event champion Matt King from East Valley Center, UT and a host of other top speedway motorcycle ice racers.

Headlining the Outlaw Quads is 2-time and reigning World Champion Mandy "Wild Child" Brodil from Grandy, NC. Mandy is the only woman to win an ICE event,(she's won plenty!), and only lady to win a World Championship in a male dominated professional oval track motorsport. Other standouts include

World Champions Randy Bigham now living in Lake Havasu, AZ and Dick Mattei from Alberta, Canada; current WC Points leader Dennis Sommerfeldt from Beloit, WI to name a few. Xtreme Kart teams from SC, AR, TX, ID, AZ and CA are already scheduled to compete in their first ever World Championship ICE event.
