The Oxford Silver Machine will be hoping for much better weather when they travel south to Eastbourne tonight for an Elite League clash.

The last two home meetings have been cancelled due to waterlogged tracks and with all of the problems over the Easter Weekend the season has also come to a complete standstill, certainly not the type of start wanted by promoter Nigel Wagstaff. The Silver Machine did win their last away match at Arena Essex and a repeat of that would do very nicely thank you.

Oxford will track an unchanged team although who will take the number 7 position is unclear as Michael Makovsky will be riding for his parent club Berwick and Kjastas Poudzhuks remains uncertain due to injury. Eastbourne will be at full stretch and the Silver Machine will need to be at their very best if they are to hold the likes of Nicki Pedersen, Adam Shields and David Norris around the tight, tricky Arlington raceway.
