Former Red Bull F1 driver Mark Webber will drive alongside Brendon Hartley and Timo Bernhard in this year's Le Mans 24 Hours and the World Endurance Championship, Porsche has confirmed.

Nine-time GP winner Webber will head up Porsche's return the top flight of endurance racing in 2014, with the German firm placing a significant emphasis on beating Audi and Toyota at the blue riband Le Mans 24 Hours race.

Porsche's much anticipated Le Mans challenger, the 919 Hybrid, will get its official launch tomorrow [4th March] at the Geneva Motor Show, with Webber, Hartley and Bernhard being joined by Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb, who will drive the #14 machine this year.

In addition to Le Mans, Porsche will participate in the full World Endurance Championship, with its racing bow scheduled for the Silverstone 6 Hours on April 19-20.
