The V de V endurance sportscar series is set for a bumper grid at the penultimate round at Magny-Cours before rounding out 2016 at Estoril.

4 Hours Endurance GT / Touring cars / LM P3: Approaching thirty

GT / Touring cars: Visiom will have a lot to deal with!

The reigning champions have completed nearly every race without fault so far this year, having won four out of five races. Visiom's trio of drivers (Pagny, Perrier and Bouvet) will however have to deal with strong opponents at this next meeting. Aside from regular Ferrari team AF Corse (drivers Cordoni, Zanuttini and Montermini), AB Sport Auto's two Renault R.S.01 entrants (no.45 and no.11), RMS's Porsche 991 GT3 Cup (current GTV2 class leaders) and ANTeam's powerful Dodge Viper GT3-R, IDEC Sport Racing's Mercedes AMG GT3 is also included in the list of contenders for the race - not forgetting IMSA Performance's Porsche 991 GT3 R, handled by Narac and Cornac. Joining the fleet on this occasion - two of CMR's Ferrari 458 GT3, a magnificent Lamborghini Huracan GT3 entered by Italian team Ebimotors (Busnelli / Babini) - two new teams to V de V - as well as Team Almeras' Porsche 997 GT3 Cup S (driven by Tremblay / Ledogar / Jaminet). There will be plenty of action on track - notably in the S1 class where Solution F's SF V8 is still at the top of the leader board!

LM P3 / PFV: Ligier, Ginetta, Pescarolo...

Seven Ligier JSP3, seven Ginetta G57, one Pescarolo 02... the fight promises to be intense for these prototypes. In the first clan - Inter Europol Competition seem to be sailing towards the title after winning in Mugello; they extend their lead in the championship going into the next round. Graff is however hungry for another victory, as are team Be Motorsport (Ibran Pardo / Bakker / Castillo) and N'Race (Fontaine / Decultot / Perroy). Teams should also be aware of newcomers Panis Barthez Comp?tition (Debard / Police / Matelli). Among the PFV entrants, Speedreams Racing's Pescarolo 02 returns to the pack, to join several Ginetta G57 - notably those of Simpson Motorsport (with current championship leaders Tomlinson and Simpson), CWS Recycling, Race Performance and Nova Race.

6 Hours Endurance Proto V de V: A close call...

Just 1.5 points stand between the no.2 Norma M20 FC, one of TFT's unstoppable, dominating prototypes, and DB Autosport's no.22 entrant driven by Dannielou, Delafosse and Pertersen, that hasn't failed to impress over the last 3 meetings at Paul Ricard, Motorland and Mugello - despite a disappointing finish at the last event. The third place team in the championship standings is also on a high right now, after winning the race at Mugello: Equipe Palmyr's car no.40. All three teams will have either 3 or 4 cars at Magny-Cours so each have real chance of placing several prototypes on the podium. This will be the case for TFT's no.6 Norma, handled by Bazaud, Thirion and Caillon, who will attempt to defend their lead from Ligier JS 53 Evo 2 no.15 entered by IDEC Sport Racing.

Another strong contender for the win overall is of course TFT's no.8 machine, entrusted to Capillaire, Lacoste and Dromedari, who placed their car on pole at Barcelona. CD Sport also stand a huge chance of finishing at the front, with their 4 cars entered into this round - after car no.32 won the race at Paul Ricard.

Endurance VHC V de V: Return of the oldies

The V de V VHC Endurance platform will return to Magny-Cours along with V de V's other championships, and promises to entertain us throughout the weekend. The competitors couldn't hide their enthusiasm to return to the V de V Endurance Series, especially on such a historic track, which proves why there will be no less than twenty cars on the grid, made up of new faces and faithful clients.

The entrants include dreamy prototypes and GT cars such as Elva MK8, Lucchini SP91, TVR Griffith 200, Alfa Romeo, Ford GT40 and of course several models of Porsche, notably the 911 3.0 RSR of multiple-time champion Bernard Moreau and the 944 Cup of current title holder Franck Thybaud.
